Stephen Tyler has over 30 years of professional experience in applied research and policy development linked to adaptation, environment, and resource management issues. He has served on the staff of leading applied research and policy organizations in Canada, California, and internationally, and as a consultant to various international organizations and research groups, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and CIDA. Stephen holds a PhD in City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and has published on urbanization and energy use, climate adaptation, and community-based resource management.
