Overview

This paper summarizes and draws lessons from the use of the urban resilience framework in eight ACCCRN cities. This includes understanding how resilience planning can occur in a number of local and national contexts, the strengths and weaknesses of the methods, and key constraints and obstacles. ACCCRN demonstrates one model for how this framework can be operationalized. The paper discusses in detail the sequence of activities that utilized climate projections, impact assessments, vulnerability assessments, detailed planning and sectoral studies and pilot projects.
