Overview

The National Institute for Disaster Management (NIDM), in collaboration with the Institute of Social and Environmental Transition (ISET-International) and Winrock International India (WII), organized an international workshop on "Risk to Resilience: Strategic Tools for Disaster Risk Management." These workshop proceedings included recommendations for disaster risk reduction strategies and options for policy makers, along with next steps on integrating and evaluating decision tools for disaster risk reduction interventions. Proceedings also focused on identifying information, knowledge gaps, and ways to develop frameworks for capturing the crucial data.
