Adapting to Climate Change in China (ACCC) ISET, the UK Climate Impacts Programme (UK-CIP), World Resources Institute (WRI) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) are beginning collaboration on a project to improve knowledge on the potential climate impacts and risks in China, and develop and integrate climate adaptation strategies into China’s overall development processes. The project will work nationally, with a strong focus in three provinces – Ningxia Autonomous Region, Guandong, and potentially Inner Mongolia. The UK Department for International Development (DfID), the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the Swiss Agency for Development are funding the project.
